Long Ditton Cricket Club runs a dynamic Colts program from five years old up to under 17s. Each season we welcome over 100 players across the age groups. We cater for all abilities, prioritising the development of our players within a positive and inclusive environment that encourages them to challenge themselves on field. The coaches at Long Ditton consider it a privilege to help to foster the love of our great game in the next generation of players, and love nothing more than seeing our players improving and enjoying playing cricket.
Younger players are invited to join our All Stars (ages 5 to 8) and Dynamos (ages 8 to 11) programs. These programs are game based and teach the fundamentals of cricket in a fun and fast-paced way, providing a pathway to cricket whilst developing general motor skills.
We currently run teams from under 11s to under 15s, for boys and girls. Our teams play in the Surrey Junior Championship. Training is from 6pm to 8pm on Friday evening at Stokes Field, with matches taking place on Sunday mornings or mid-week. There are fewer better places to be, for our players, parents and carers, than the picturesque Stokes Field on a Friday evening.
